In 1939 Arrow Coach Lines registered the trademark and began a legacy of transporting passengers. By 1941, the company was operating a passenger motor line 3 times daily from Brownwood, Tx to Austin, Tx (via Goldwaite & Lampasas) and Brownwood to Waco (via Goldwaite & Gatesville). To maintain dependability and efficiency, the company also operated its own repair shop. Camp Hood (later renamed Fort Hood), 1942, brought bus routes to the area. The company name has been changed to Arrow Trailways and is nestled into the population hub of Killeen, which is the immediate neighbor to Fort Hood. We are still running routes, connecting with GHI to offer travel nationwide, as well as providing transportation for private groups (charters) to anywhere in the Continental US and Canada.
